No app notifications on Android

Despite having the settings selected to receive notifications from the app on my S8, I am not getting them. I have force stopped the app on multiple occasions, but it hasn't made any difference.

Hey Serena, would you might doing me a favour and going to settings -> logging out -> logging back in (with your email) you will get the 'Do you want push notification's' button and press Yes.
and let me know if that fixes the situation.

Also, curious, did you just stop getting notifications or have you not been receiving them for a while.

Daniel Mathews: I tried this last night. When I went to log back in with my email, it said it would send me a link to log in. Still haven't received it and it's been 15 hours, so I tried again 1 hour ago and haven't received a link to log in from my second request either. I checked my spam folder too.

Serena: oh yes! Sorry, I had turned off all emails for your account (till we fix our email notification management settings) will send you an email manually in a couple seconds.

Daniel Mathews: thank you so much for sending it manually. I am logged back in and have asked a friend to tag me in an echo to see if it's working. Let's assume everything is good unless I reply to this thread stating otherwise. Thanks so much for all your help!
